Fredrika “Freddie” Anderson
At 15, my plans changed drastically and I set my sights on a career improving the sporting performance of horses, beginning with those around me. I was always willing to work with horses labelled difficult or quirky, but as my experience grew, it became clear that many of these issues stemmed from deeper underlying issues. Following a complex veterinary diagnosis involving my own horse, my direction evolved further and I completed my BSc in Equine Sports Therapy at Writtle University.
My time at Writtle demonstrated that rehabilitation and injury prevention extends far beyond a set of prescription exercises, and it developed my desire to provide a truly holistic service tailored to the individual needs of each animal.
My interest in musculoskeletal pathology evolved as I joined a progressive independent small animal practice, committed to the development of their capabilities in the treatment and management of orthopaedic conditions of their canine patients.
I strive to help each animal become the best version of themselves, working collaboratively with other professionals to develop treatment and management plans that not only resolve dysfunction in the short term, but also deliver long-term results to maximise quality of life.
